EOS Quality Standard

  • The EOS Quality Standard is an initiative of the EOS e-Manufacturing Partner Program and is open to all EOS customers.

  • The purpose of the EOS Quality Standard is to define a package of requirements which should guarantee high quality in e‑Manufacturing parts and services.

  • The procedures of the EOS Quality Standard are to be integrated in customers’ ISO 9001 quality management system (e.g. Section 5 Management Responsibility) and included in the annual auditing.

  • Participating customers benefit from differentiation in the marketplace by clearly defined quality standards. 

 

Quality assurance (QA) procedures

The e‑Manufacturing provider must have implemented a quality management system (QMS) which has a valid certification according to ISO 9001, and must define and implement QA procedures for the production and supply of laser-sintered parts within that QMS.

 

Certification and auditing

The e‑Manufacturing provider must include this EOS Quality Standard in its own QMS, for example in Section 5 (Management Responsibility), and specify that it is to be included in the annual ISO 9001 auditing.
