The EOS Quality Standard is an initiative of the EOS e-Manufacturing Partner Program and is open to all EOS customers.
The purpose of the EOS Quality Standard is to define a package of requirements which should guarantee high quality in e‑Manufacturing parts and services.
The procedures of the EOS Quality Standard are to be integrated in customers’ ISO 9001 quality management system (e.g. Section 5 Management Responsibility) and included in the annual auditing.
Participating customers benefit from differentiation in the marketplace by clearly defined quality standards.
Quality assurance (QA) procedures
The e‑Manufacturing provider must have implemented a quality management system (QMS) which has a valid certification according to ISO 9001, and must define and implement QA procedures for the production and supply of laser-sintered parts within that QMS.
Certification and auditing
The e‑Manufacturing provider must include this EOS Quality Standard in its own QMS, for example in Section 5 (Management Responsibility), and specify that it is to be included in the annual ISO 9001 auditing.
