EOS is the world leader in laser sintering. Laser-sintering is an additive layer manufacturing technology and the key technology for e-Manufacturing. It enables the fast, flexible and cost-effective production of products, patterns or tools directly from electronic data. The process accelerated product development and optimizes production processes. EOS sells systems in 32 countries and has completed its business year 2010/2011 with a turnover of more than 90 million euros. The company employs 356 people, including 277 at its headquarters in Krailling, near Munich. The customers come from diverse industries such as automotive & industries, aerospace, medical, tooling and consumer goods.
