Employee (m/f) technical service hotline UK/Nordic

Objective of this position

The objective of this position is to guarantee availability of the service Hotline Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; the position is based at our branch office in Warwick. The role is to act as the interface between the service operation and our customer base.  This position includes actively recording the incoming service inquiries logging the calls into the ERP system, preparing spare part orders and liaising with the technical support representative to enable the provision of proactive technical support to the customers and engineers for the region UK and Nordic. 

Your tasks

  • Receiving, recording, qualifying and handling customer, sales  and engineer inquiries through the Hotline
  • Qualifying, organisation and coordination of incoming inquiries together with the Technical Support person
  • Monitoring of open customer incidents and requesting updates from service engineers
  •  Communicating with colleagues in the Technical Support department with the clarification, coordination and prioritisation of breakdowns
  •  Support with spare parts identification and ordering
  •  Monitoring of installations in collaboration with the Field Service Engineers and Sales Team
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Documentation as per company specifications

Your profile

  • Ideally technical background with commercial understanding
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills as well as customer orientation
  • Excellent spoken and written English language, Swedish language is preferable
  • Excellent team player and intercultural competence
  • You maintain a target- and quality-oriented attitude  
  • Your work style is characterised by independence and diligence
