HR Manager (m/f) 

Objective of the position as a HR Manager (m/f) is the support and consulting of our subsidiary in Turku/Finland regarding all HR-related topics. The HR Manager (m/f) handles the day-to-day HR functions with an emphasis in employee relations, training and development, performance management and recruiting and is a very important part in ensuring the company's success.  

Your Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & retention: take active part in managing talent and succession planning, manage the full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within the organization: Definition of job profiles in close cooperation with the hiring manager, review applications, screen applicants to match experience and skills to meet specific job requirements, interview candidates for open positions, evaluation of job interviews, close consultation with the manager in the decision-making-process
  • Accompany and supporting employees during the on-boarding-process 
  • Learning & Development: provide guidance on development for managers and their teams; identify areas that need attention and improvement
  • Performance Management: coach and otherwise support managers on performance management issues and processes
  • Change Management: contribute actively to the development and implementation of overall HR strategy, ensuring the alignment of relevant HR processes and standards
  • Consult managers and implement specific regulations and rules regarding Finnish labor law, collective agreement and Cooperation Act in cooperation with external labor law counsels  
  • Representation of HR as creative and regulative Partner 
  • Cooperation and interface to corporate Human Resources with regular business trips to EOS Headquarters in Krailling

Your Background

  • University degree in business administration, psychology, economic education or law with focus on human resource management or comparable qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years HR experience in a similar position in an international company, especially in recruiting and people development 
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR principles and practices, employment laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required 
  • Cultural sensitivity and confidence in working with people coming from different national and professional cultures as well as the ability to adapt to and implement change and to manage conflicts
  • Demonstrated ability to be personable, professional, responsive, knowledgeable, credible, trusted and drive value to a organization
  • Fluent in both Finish and English, preferably read, write and speak fluently in German, but not required
  • Willingness to travel
