Additive Manufacturing Consultant

You are responsible for the implementation and management of consulting projects with renowned industrial companies (for example, mechanical engineering, consumer goods, automotive, etc.). Your aim is to select existing parts / products for Additive Manufacturing applications, to optimize additive manufacturing production processes according to our EOS methodology and to manage efficient know-how transfer in order to enable the customer team in our technology. 
  • You are a pioneer and coordinator for consulting relevant topics in your industrial-specific topic (for example, aerospace engineering, turbine technology, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge and proper positioning of Additive Minds topics in order to effectively scope projects to meet customers' requirements
  • Standardization of customer-specific solutions and internal know-how transfer. This may involve translation and/or proof reading of English training materials into the local business language.
  • Close cooperation with the Regional  and Sales Managers in order fora targeted implementation of our global sales strategy
  • Develop technical application development knowledge around the EOS eco system in order to perform benchmark tests and development
  • Training of new and existing EOS customers in selected Additive Minds topics
  • Consultancy to customers and prospects regarding machine use and application, including by telephone and at customer sites
  • Participation in development projects with internal and external partners


  • University degree in industrial engineering or engineering and several years of experience in industrial companies or a technical consulting unit (ideally engineering or in the manufacturing sectors of industrial companies)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in additive manufacturing or in a similar manufacturing technology, ideally in an industrial enterprise
  • Several years of experience in the implementation of consulting projects
  • Solid experience as a project or subproject manager, ideally with budget responsibility
  • Excellent understanding of the link between business requirements and the use of manufacturing technologies in a production environment
  • Familiar with software such as NX, solidworks, Proe, Moldflow, Moldex3D  is a plus
  • Basic knowledge in CAD and good three dimensional design imaginations
  • IT knowledge (PC, MS-Windows, Networks, MS-Office)
  • Ability to work independently and being self driven is a must    
  • You stand out due to very good analysis and excellent customer management skills
  • You pave the way for innovation and characterized by a high willingness to question and improve solutions and processes on the customer's site
  • To the public and to customers you represent EOS professionally and convincingly
  • You are fluent in English and Japanese and willing to travel worldwide
