Dr. Hans J. Langer holds a PhD in physics and is Executive Chairman of the EOS GROUP. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the group, a family-owned group of companies. Dr. Langer founded EOS in 1989 and built it into a global leader for high-end solutions in the field of industrial 3D printing. Stations prior to EOS included research at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and as Managing Director Europe of General Scanning.
As the second founder generation Marie Langer took over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EOS in October 2019 and is responsible for the strategic direction of EOS and its subsidiaries. Her key goals are digitization, industrialization and sustainability of 3D printing. This involves the integration of industrial 3D printing into the digital value chain of production and the further industrialization of the technology for series production. At the same time, Marie Langer is passionately driving forward a comprehensive corporate concept that combines innovation and sustainability with the goal of enabling a responsible manufacturing that offers customers competitive yet sustainable solutions, at the same time offering social and ecological benefits to the world.
Marie Langer has previously held various leadership positions at EOS, including management of the social venture program as well as corporate and business development for the broader EOS GROUP.
She is a qualified psychologist specialized on organizational and educational psychology, holds a degree in corporate leadership from the IESE Business School and before EOS founded ELEMENT A, an initiative to promote innovation in education.
Virginia Palacios joined EOS as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) in January 2023. In her role, Virginia leads our global Sales Organization as well as the Regional Service Teams driven by an end-to-end vision for the business to drive technology integration into our customers´ production environment. She is a strong and passionate global leader with experiences across business functions, geographies, and product-customer segments. Naturally driven by high-value customer-centric innovation, she has led multiple diverse global teams to solve customer problems and has in-depth expertise and experience in additive manufacturing.
Virginia holds a master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from La Salle University in Barcelona and Advanced Leadership and Innovation degree from Stanford University.
Dr. Florian Mes joined EOS as the Chief Performance Officer of the EOS GROUP in January 2021 and is one of the Managing Directors of the EOS GmbH since October 2021. In his role, he has a focus on Operational Excellence and is responsible for Finance, Operations and IT. Previously, he was a partner at a management consultancy. He has extensive expertise in the areas of transformation and performance improvement programs, finance excellence and corporate finance.
Dr. Florian Mes holds a degree in business administration and economics from the University of Regensburg and a doctorate in business administration (Dr. rer. oec.) from the University of Wuppertal.
Ruha Reyhani joined EOS as Chief Transformation Officer in July 2020. She leads the cultural transformation process kicked off at EOS, also enabling new ways of collaboration. Her main focus is on communications, positioning, internal digitalization, customer and employee experience, as well as introducing new mindset and new work concepts to develop employee and team performance regarding mindset and new work. For over a decade she has been involved in building companies and designing initiatives. The past five years she was a managing partner and strategist at an innovation agency that develops human-centered, entrepreneurial, and collaborative approaches for companies.
Ruha Reyhani has a Bachelor in Humanities (double degree program including sociology and philosophy) and completed an MBA.
In his role as Chief Business Officer, Nikolai Zaepernick manages the business of the global EOS product portfolio consisting of systems, software, service, metal and polymer materials and he drives the EOS portfolio digitalization. In addition, he is one of the Managing Directors of EOS GmbH. Nikolai Zaepernick joined EOS in 2011, started as VP Strategy and Business Development, then took over the responsibility for the EOS business in Central Europe and most recently, he headed the Life Cycle Solutions division.
Previously, he worked for Siemens, among others, for more than ten years, most recently as VP Strategy for the Division ‘Drive Technologies’ Nikolai Zaepernick is a mechanical engineer and holds an MBA degree.
