EOS e-Manufacturing News Edition 15/2014

Ausgabe 15/2014

Our new systems, the EOS M 400 and EOS P 396, kick off the year with a bang. Both were already displayed within the EOS booth at Euromold in December.

This edition finishes the series about the Part Property Management (PPM) concept. After Plug&Print EOS Standard (optimal parameter set by EOS) and Edit&Print (open parameters, freely editable for the customers) we now provide you the third version Plug&Print EOS Custom which is a variant specially for customer-specific solution, e.g. for manufacturing

As always, our calendar of events shows you dates of upcoming shows and events were EOS will be exhibiting and where we look forward to your visit. Enjoy reading!

Yours sincerely

EOS M 400: EOS Set New Standard for Additive Manufacturing of Large Metal Parts – Modular System with High Productivity and Enhanced Quality Management.

With a building volume of 400 x 400 x 400 mm, EOS M 400 allows the production of large metal parts on an industrial scale – directly from CAD data and with no need for tools. A 1 kW laser boosts productivity due to higher build rates and increased layer thickness. And, recoating from each side reduces the non-productive time of the system.

EOS P 396: The Success Story Continues – Newest Machine of the Sophisticated System Platform with Better Cost-per-Part-Ratio and Process Stability
With a total build size of 340 x 340 x 600 mm, the EOS P 396 covers ideally the medium build volume range. The newly developed software and hardware components make the EOS P 396 on the whole more productive. This reduces both costs per job and component costs. Improved temperature management permits continuous temperature control, thus reducing non-productive process times and improving process stability. more…

Plug&Print EOS Custom
With the third version of the optimized PMM concept, called Plug&Print EOS Custom, a solution is customized for your specific applications.<br /> Partnering with EOS under this model means that – based on customer specifications – EOS develops a solution specific to the customer’s application and part quality needs. The solution can be any combination of products in EOS’ extensive portfolio
