At EOS, we have exceptional materials expertise and a comprehensive portfolio of highly developed plastic and polymer materials (3D printing materials) for laser sintering in additive manufacturing. Our 3D printing materials, systems, and process parameters fit together optimally. With the right EOS materials, you can realise the target property profiles in the best possible way for your products. EOS is also continuously developing its range of high-tech materials to meet special customer requirements.
The following 3D printing materials are available for the additive manufacturing of plastic products: polyamides (PA), polystyrenes (PS), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), polypropylene (PP) , and polyaryletherketone (PAEK). We offer a comprehensive selection of EOS materials for the production of plastic parts with additive manufacturing processes. This allows highly customised products to be manufactured in first-class quality.
We’re happy to advise and support you as much as you need with your material selection. In this way, you can benefit from our many years of experience and high-quality, tested EOS materials to achieve your design, development and production goals.
All EOS materials are delivered with a certificate documenting the results of comprehensive QA testing, not just of the powder itself, but also of test parts built on a dedicated system with a dedicated process.
International standards for the materials used in additive manufacturing have not yet been established, but they are a must-have for production. That’s why EOS has adapted the well-know Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) to 3D printing – for the first time in the industry.
This classification offers fully transparency about the maturity level of products, but also provides predictable results and higher levels of trust in repeatability and reliability, as well as an informed choice of materials for each application.
