As an original equipment manufacturer, EOS works with a wide range of customers across industries, each bringing different goals to their use of industrial 3D printing. Among these are service providers—contract manufacturers who use EOS technology to produce parts and products on behalf of other companies. These providers operate globally and serve thousands of customers annually, playing a vital role in the broader manufacturing ecosystem.
In this ongoing series, we’re highlighting EOS service providers to share the innovations they’re enabling with industrial 3D printing. First up: Incodema3D, a metal additive manufacturing company based in Freeville, New York.
Founded in 2016 by CEO Sean Whittaker, Incodema3D began with a vision to offer advanced, on-demand metal AM services. Early investment in EOS technology laid the foundation for that vision. Today, the company operates more than 35 EOS metal systems, with projects spanning aerospace, defense, and power generation. Over time, the business has evolved from research and development into full-scale production, driven in part by defense contracts requiring serial manufacturing.
Incodema3D’s nearly 60,000-square-foot facility is designed for end-to-end production. It includes post-processing, CNC machining, powder handling, and other capabilities that allow them to deliver complete applications under one roof. Central to their production strategy is the EOS M 300-4 system, known for its speed and reliability. In April 2024 alone, Incodema3D added four M 300-4 machines to their shop floor, with further expansion planned. Their commitment to laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) AM – and EOS as the supplier of that technology, has enabled consistent quality, efficient scaling, and smoother operations across a diverse range of materials and part types.

"The EOS printers in our fleet are running at nearly 90% production utilization. To meet our customers’ growing demands, we need the fastest and most reliable systems available.”
Sean Whittaker, CEO Incodema3D

In addition to the EOS M 300-4, Incodema3D also operates EOS M 290 and EOS M 400 systems, supporting a variety of materials including aluminum, cobalt chrome, stainless steel, titanium, copper, and nickel alloys. This flexibility allows them to take on a wide range of customer applications without compromising throughput or quality.
But it’s not just their equipment that defines Incodema3D—it’s the team. Collaboration is built into the company’s culture, with engineers, technicians, and operators all contributing to a shared goal: delivering precision parts at scale. A commitment to respect, integrity, and continuous improvement underpins their operations, fostering an environment where innovation thrives.
With more than 20,000 projects completed, Incodema3D is helping to shape the future of metal additive manufacturing. Their technical expertise, production capabilities, and strong partnership with EOS position them as leaders in the field.
