With the currently available selection of 9 plastic materials and 9 material/layer thickness combinations, EOS is the leader in material diversity. Also, the EOS ParameterEditor can be used to define custom exposure parameters based on proven starting values.
The established EOSAME feature homogenizes the energy input, ensuring excellent part mechanics and dimensional accuracy throughout the entire build volume. There are no visible edges in the overlapping zone of the lasers.
The optimized temperature management, improved layering speed and powerful lasers significantly reduce the build time and hence the part costs.

Additively manufactured parts allow us to test various design variants quickly and inexpensively. EOS machines also provide the required part mechanics and dimensional accuracy effortlessly.
EOS technology is a robust process that yields identical results. We defined the mechanical properties of each part and successfully confirmed that the EOS system meets our specifications and achieves the same product quality with every build order.
EOS has exceptional materials expertise and a comprehensive portfolio of highly developed plastic and polymer materials for additive manufacturing. All materials, systems and process parameters fit together optimally. This allows you to realize the desired property profiles in the best possible way for your products.more about polymer materials
Alumide is a metallic grey, aluminium-filled polyamide 12 powder, which is characterized by its high stiffness, metallic appearance and good post-processing possibilities.
The white, light-transmissive, additively manufactured parts are characterized by high impact resistance and elongation at break. They do not splinter even under the highest mechanical loads.
PA 1102 black is a mass-colored black polyamide 11 powder, which is optimized for the use as a laser sintering material.
The property profile of durable white parts made from PA 2200 is very balanced: such parts are characterized by strength, rigidity and good chemical resistance. They are also biocompatible and certified for contact with foodstuffs.
Parts made from untreated polyamide 12 powder are also white but appear slightly more transparent. This material is approved for contact with foodstuffs (FDA, 21 CFR).
Parts made from this white polyamide 12 powder filled with glass beads are impressive due to their high rigidity and good elongation at break. They are also especially resistant to wear and thermally resilient.
PrimeCast 101, a grey powder on polystyrene basis, is suited especially for investment casting due to its excellent dimensional accuracy and its low melting point.
This polyamide-12-based material is white and contains a halogen flame retardant. Thanks to its good refreshability, it is very cost-efficient compared to other flame-retardant materials.
IPCM P is the semi-automatic solution for the quick and safe handling of plastic materials. The solution is ideal for use with multiple machines. The powder contact for the operator is much less.
